Click me to see the thread of this task Laura is asking Wolfgang which payment processor we are suppose to be using. Is Trodat going to switch from payment tech to FDC. I think, judging by current code that we may already be setup to use FDC. We are using the file FDCcodes.txt. If they change processor's we will have to change TCN code. Not sure how big of a deal this is. Could be small or medium task.

Click me to see the thread of this task Laura at OrderTrust (OT) has asked that we change all customer id's in ctx files and in the presenters_lists.txt to: TXNTR001 from the previous values. Each presenter currently has a different id. I have to change customer id's in all CTX files as we move into other presenters..

Click me to see the thread of this task I have to modify the WSH conveyance program some more. To write an audit file. Should we append or overwrite the audit file? Maybe create new one each time? (depends on file size).   I will probably have to modify all the other batch programs, if this one is any indication.

Click me to see the thread of this task Run WSH file from Task Scheduler every 10 minutes? What is a safe time to run it? Not too close together in case a lot of orders are already being submitted. The WSH is not re-entrant safe code. Will need to test this once WSH script is OK.

I have the order format from Magdaline at OT. Markus gets TCN originated orders from trodgOOC - password: lw27AupX  (file format is in this file : 0406_ASCIIfileformatforendpointTrodatGMBH.doc)

Click me to see the thread of this task We need to test sending order data from TCN to OT, and then have Markus pick up orders via FTP (user: trodg00C) and he checks file format. I don't yet know if Markus does anything else with this incoming order data. I think he only deals with it manually. It would be too time consuimg to automate it on their system.

Click me to see the thread of this task Document the XML data that OT generates in CERT environment just so we have a record of it. This XML can be helpful in troubleshooting problems. There is also an LSF format that magdaline told me about. Its an internal format that they use at Ordertrust for storing order data.

Click me to see the thread of this task I am working on documenting the Profile/Tracing of the SQL server interaction with the ASP pages and DLL objects.  Having this knowledge is good for debugging, testing, and development.  I will be creating a document for each new critical path through the TCN system, on an as needed basis.  For starters, I have created a list of the SQL SPROC's enlisted from the time of login until an order is placed and order confirmation received. There are many good reasons to do this. We can find bottlenecks, establish performance criteria. Understand how the system works and how data flows throughout the system, and make it more efficient.  We do not have information such as this right now.

Click me to see the thread of this task I am working with Magdaline at Ordertrust on the CERT testing process. She has given me a rather large testing matrix that I will be using to test the TCN production servers. She has told me which specific tables, and items in those tables to test.  Click green ball to see the linked docs. This is one of the largest time consuming tasks on this list. It means that all the programs on TCN have to working to complete the test successfully. So this one will take some time.
